patrick.gillespiePatrick Gillespie is a skilled professional with over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Patrick attended North Texas State University, where he studied geology and kinesiology. During summer breaks, he began learning his father’s craft by working for Gem Drilling. Patrick then worked for Dresser Atlas as a wireline logger, after which he joined Mohawk Mud Company as a drilling fluids engineer. He then accepted the position of Vice President of Sales and Land Management for Gillespie Oil and Gillespie Drilling. He directed sales and marketing of joint ventures for Gillespie Oil, encompassing more than four million dollars per year in the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. In the early and mid 90’s, Patrick was manager of the Southern Delta Region for Lummus Corporation, the world’s largest cotton gin machinery manufacturer. Patrick returned to the oil and gas business in the late 90’s with his father. Since 2000, Patrick has worked as a landman and crew chief for Fenlaw Land Services being involved in projects for Mitchell Energy and Devon Energy Production Company.
